Here at Rock Hill Christian Church we do not profess to have all the answers. This testimony by William Barclay sums up how most of us feel as we study God's Word and seek the guidance of His Holy Spirit.
 

One thing I know...Because of Jesus Christ and because of what he is and what he did and still does, my whole relationship to God is changed. Because of Jesus Christ, I know that God is my Father and Friend. Daily and hourly I experience the fact that I can enter into his presence with confidence and with boldness. He is no longer my enemy. He is no longer even my judge. There is no longer any unbridgeable gulf between him and me. I am more at home with God than I am with any human being in the world. All this is because of Jesus Christ, and it could not have possibly have happened without Him.

Romans 8: 35-39

35 Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 Just as it is written,

“For Your sake we are being put to death all day long;
We were considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”

37 But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
